Homemade cherry jam with nutmeg

One more delicious jam has been born! cherry jam!  Inspired by the previous jam created by myself, (you can see the links for the other jams at the end of this post) I didn’t stop there.

They are so different, aromatic and tasty, so the next natural step was to create the next unique jam. Naturally sweet black cherries, with some natural unrefined coconut sugar with low GI, natural sweetness from vanilla and oriental magical notes, reminding me of the warm aroma of the spicy east… So easy to prepare, quick and unique…The benefits continue with the fact you can use it in so many home recipes and no need to worry about the kids having too much, its healthy ! awesome! Homemade strawberry jam with vanilla & cardamom


Homemade cherry jam with nutmeg

Deep, intense and naturally sweet


  • 200 g cherries (frozen is fine)
  • 40 g coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Chop the cherries as fine as possible
  2. Put the cherries into a saucepan on a low to medium heat
  3. Add the sugar and spices, stir occasionally until you reach a thick sticky consistency about 10-15 min (when it’s cooled it will become thicker).
