Cherry truffles with almond butter | Valentines day truffles

Vegan paleo, easy recipe for spectacular truffles with cherry jam


  • 50 gr. almond flour
  • 30 gr. coconut flour
  • 3 TBSP melted coconut butter
  • 20-30 gr. coconut sugar (to taste)
  • 1 TBSP almond flour (optional for thickening mixture)
  • 1/2 dose cherry jam ( click here for cherry jam)
  • raw cacao powder for coating and some freeze dried cherry powder


  1. Melt the coconut butter on a low heat
  2. Mix all the ingredients together except the coconut sugar and almond flour
  3. Add the coconut sugar bit by bit until you reach the required sweetness
  4. If it is not thick enough to form truffle dough add TBSP of almond flour to thicken up the mixture
  5. Use your silicone  mold of choice and make you cherry-almond truffles
  6. Put them in the freezer for around 15-20 min
  7. Pop them out of their molds and coat them in a high quality raw cacao powder, if you need a special fancy touch add some cherry powder
