Matcha bites | super energy and detox kick

These  vegan matcha bites are full of energy and antioxidants! Did you know that matcha is one of 3 ingredients with the highest levels of antioxidants in the world. Amazing isn’t it! The positives don’t stop there either, matcha has great cleaning and detox benefits as a green tea, it’s 10 times more powerful. So you are getting quiet a serious powerful kick to clean those toxins it also help with calmness, unbelievable isn’t it.

These vegan matcha bites are excellent for any time of day, from early morning to late night snack. Matcha promotes better concentration so they are great for the kids in their packed lunch or morning breakfast or after school treat. I was inspired to create these bites because of the recent popularity of matcha and the know benefits of this super food. I really enjoy the taste of matcha, it’s a divine super food!

I’m always trying to create some healthy treats at home, so quite often we have lovely healthy sweets, snacks and desserts. Like a normal person I’m not always in the mood or have the time for making long recipes, these matcha bites took me 10 minutes and boom!ready. That’s how I roll!

If you are on a cleaning or detox program don’t forget to know your limits, when to stop. It’s great to have these wonderful little treats when we are on some diet but unfortunately it has to be with limits. Ladies and gentlemen no cheating if you are on cleaning or weight loss diets, you want to reach the planned results!

Instructions
  1. Melt the coconut butter
  2. In a food processor mix the cashew nuts, syrup and coconut butter. Mix until you reach a smooth paste
  3. Add the matcha and continue to mix.
  4. Form small balls and cover them with matcha or raw cacao powder (optional)
